GFF Red Orps LF
GFF White Orps LF

Black Mottled & Calico/Blue Calico Bantam Cochin*

GFF Swedish Flower Hen*

Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!

Hope that you are ok (medical). Sorry to hear that you have to downsize.

Did you order your bees or buy locally? I've been looking into starting with a top bar hive. It doesn't produce as much honey as the traditional Langstroth hives, but it doesn't require near the equipment needed to harvest the honey. I was looking at this one on ebay.

Most of the puppies seem to be doing well, but the little runt is just so tiny. I tried to bottle feed him yesterday, and he took a little bit of it. This morning he seemed really weak and wanted nothing to do with it. I gave him back to mom and am hoping for the best. Mom is taking very good care of them!

I didn't like the puppy setup I started with, so I went home and made a larger whelping box out of the extra cedar boards I had left over from my fence. It came out really well, and Milla seems to really like the extra room. I may be a little biased, but I think she looks really good for just delivering 10 puppies!

I once hand fed a runt with an eye dropper by pushing the smallest amount in her mouth for her to swallow, bit by bit. She did end up a big fat girl. LOL

SSterling --I am so sorry you are having problems. I wish you all the best. Please PM me with info on the red orps, mf leghorns, and SFHs. Number of chicks and pricing.

Prayers for you!

Sandy

I don't think my goose babies are even developing...

I tried to post some pics last night via the iPhone, but it was acting crazy. Hubby told me to be patient... I'm trying, but it's SO HARD!!! I can usually spot some kind of life by now. I'm hoping that they are just going to be "late bloomers". I placed them in the incubator on 4-25. These pics are from last night. I guess that I will have to make myself wait to candle again until Friday or Saturday...

He is right about being patient. I don't like the long wait for the goose eggs. :/ Chicken eggs are soooooooooooooooo much easier than goose eggs. :hit Will you cool and mist your goose eggs when the time comes?
