I just got a call from one of my gym buddies who asked me how do you catch a wild peacock. My answer was, "You don't cause you can't". :/ She has a sister who has a "lost" peacock in her yard and they are trying to figure out how to catch it, so they thought of the bright idea to call me. ME? I'm certainly no help. :/ I told her to catch the "trapping" on video so that I can laugh at them later on.

Hi all. As if the pneumonia wasn't enough, I started with stomach cramps and vomiting on Saturday. I hurt bad enough that hubby took me to the emergency room Saturday night. Xrays, bloodwork, etc all came back normal so the doctor told me it just must be the virus. I finally struggled to come back to work today --haven't eaten since Friday morning. Still have intestinal cramps---UGGHHHH! So between my guts and lungs I'm having a hard time functioning.

Hope to catch up soon.

I think it's been going around. I was sick all weekend, and am just now feeling better. I made myself go to work yesterday, but I sure could have used the whole day to myself for sleeping! Hope you feel better!

NOLA Chicks, I just may happen to BE in the video. The girl text me and told me that she had called the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries moments before she called me and they called her back to let her know that they were NOT coming to help with the capture of the pea and neither was Animal Control or the Zoo. Soooooooooooo, I guess that leaves "The Crazy Chicken Lady" < - - - -- (ME) the only person to go and help them. :/ I told her that I was going home to change out of my work clothes into my "Wild Life Adventure" clothes and boots and that I would be there by 6:00 PM. Lord, what have I gone and got myself into. I hope they call me back and tell me that the pea went back into the woods. That will be GREAT news! Hopefully, the mom has gone back to setting on eggs or tending to her young ones.

There's a man up the road from me who has only God knows how many pea on his property. Told me I can have every one of them I catch. They roost abut 30 feet in the trees at night. yeah I there! NOT
