PSJ - that is awesome about the chick hatching! I hope you can get a pic to upload. :)

I'm not sure how the eggs will fare that still have a ways to go, but I would lay a thermometer on top of the eggs to check temps. You can move your light closer or further away to roughly regulate. Don't forget to turn the eggs a few times per day until they're about 3 days from hatch, then leave them be.

There are lots of good people on here with tons of info! If you have a question, just ask away! I am fairly new to poultry as well (I have waterfowl - couple of ducks, couple of goslings) and have learned lots from the people on this forum.
