"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

The whole car thing sucks. Some years ago(while working for the zone) saw the same thing happen prooblem is that 1. Unfortunately they hire people without any auto experience. That person needs a job. And the training they give them is minimal. 2. On some vehicles the manufacturer will list two different types of batteries they should have looked to see which series was in the car. Some batteries have reversed post. Which means the battery works differently.

That person will most likely be termed. Some of these companies stinck at proper training. Oh and the windshield thing. Had a store manager break a windshield while replacing the blades. Needless to Say the store paid for that too.

Wow! I new things sounded familiar .Except for how we came to these problems . I was sitting at a stop light and was hit by a pickup truck doing 50 M P H. 8 herniated. disc, 7 cervical and L5. c 4 is torn in half. half the length of the disc. So that's where the spur and stenosis are. my soft tissue was severely damaged .its also fusing itself. My fascia is stretched along with my ligaments .I have shoulder dislocation. All the stress on my system caused leaky gut, adrenal fatigue, muscle spasms, of coarse arthritis I've probably forgot something. oh ptsd when I ride in the car if I don't drive. Ten years later I've come to a place where I can manage for the most part. I went on bio identical hormones 6 years ago and they were all out of whack. That has helped me the most out of all the treatments I've had. Testosterone firms my tissue it coats the nerves if you have nerve damage. Its great for that and degenerative disc .from progressing. I try to stay in my limits too. Its hard I was Super active in great shape. My mind didn't get the memo that I have to do things different.Pam

That is SUPER awful! I didn't know that about the hormone thing. Interesting for sure. And leaky gut from 2 completely different reasons you and I. Wow. I just cannot imagine the trauma. Sheesh, I would have ptsd too!!!

And I am interested in any natural, or less than narcotic treatments. If I am doing bad I use patches which just have lidocaine. They work great and it soaks into your muscles. I also have a TENS machine that emits small electronic bursts. So yes, there are people around here who need and get electric shock! Hahaha! I also rock. Sounds weird, but it helps. As far as anything else natural, no But I sure would look into anything.

I have the answer... We are the second most active thread on BYC. We were beat by Wisconsin "Cheeseheads". Well, considering all they have is the packers they need something to talk about, right?

Plus they're stuck inside a lot of the time w/bad weather (aka 8 months of SNOW)!
Having said that, I'm wearing my Packers t-shirt today at work (only because I couldn't find my Saints one)!

I actually got to see a hen lay!

I've never managed to catch one red handed..... or uhm blue egged? before!

It is pretty cool!!

I caught my buff brahma last week. I even filmed it with my phone. You can't see much, but you can hear the egg thunk. "Irish" could care less that I was watching her.
I caught my silver laced wyandotte a couple of days ago. I opened the nesting box and she was in there. She started fussing at me so loudly! She jumped out of the box, ran out of the coop and ran and fussed at me all around the run. She had everyone worked up by the time she was done! Talk about a pissy hen!!!

Now I just have to figure out who the last one laying is.

Back in the 80's I was trying to switch to drinking water instead of sodas etc. Someone said to start out with Crystal Light and slowly mix with more water and less Crystal Light. Well, it wasn't too long before I was confused and had difficulty thinking. I was told it was from the artificial sweetener. I was very impressed at the neurological effect of artificial sweetners. Right there in 1984 I vowed to never put another artificial sweetners in my body and I haven't. My grand kids do them all the time, but never on my watch. They know what I think of it and that I won't give them anything with it. I crave water and carry it with me all the time everywhere I go. I've been drinking water all day and not sodas since then.

I have a pullet that is trying to decide if she wants to be broody or not. They all want the one nest box and will wait turns rather then using both at the same time. Usually, you have one in the box and the one waiting on the ground bickering at each other until the first one is done. Well, for the last 3 days the one in my picture has been trying to lay on eggs. Only one egg in 3 days from her and she will not budge, the others lay on top of her and move on. She stays in there all day and when I remove the eggs at night and only leave her with the fake ones she growls at me for a while and tries to sit a little more. About half an hour after I remove them she goes to the roost sulking. She does a great job of rotating and stacking them. Every egg that the other girls laid were nicely corraled under her. Is it to late in the season for them to be brooding? Does a pullet for the first time really sit it out if left with the eggs? BTW she is not egg bound, def trying to be broody.

I haven't had a soda in about 8 years.
