Inglewood moved their ducks closer to my folks' house. Every time Mom calls her barn cats they all run to the fence & watch - too funny! They must want some cat food, too!

I almost forgot to tell you all about more babies hatching but that's really nothing new. Just as fast as I can sell them, they are hatching even faster. :/ Now I am finding babies just roaming around the yard with no mama. I'm at a point now where I just walk in the yard and listen for new babies. They will let me know where they are. This pic was the first babies this weekend. After this pic was taken, I was finding other babies, so I just put them with this mama. I don 't know if the babies were hers but they are now.

Is that a Scovie? She looks almost pure white! cute babies.

Yes, she is a Scovie and she is pure white. Half of the babies will be a mixture of either green of chocolate and the others will be solid white.

And ducks love cat food. I have to stand guard and wait until the outside cats eat because the ducks will attack the cat food. :/

Ummmm....that's A LOT of ducks!!!!...What the heck are you doing at your place???!!?? I know we always tease about "fertile acres", but WOW!!!! Go big or go home...you need to hit at least the 400 mark!!!

I was exagerrating about the number/ It's not 397. I would say about 200 though. And that is a low number. One year is was about 300. For some reason, my girls are VERY fertile and they lay about 12 - 15 eggs per clutch. I have about 30 hens if not more. So, you can pretty much do the numbers and calculate.

I have no idea what the secret is but I wish that I knew so that I cold stop doing whatever it is I"m doing. :/

Oh my goodness!!! They are SO CUTE!!!!! I noticed that "Powder's" coloring is very different. Are there a lot of color variations for the breed?
Keep posting pictures... I can't wait to see if you can get this group to "pass out" in your hands!
