I'm trying to "grow" my medicine cabinet for my chickens. I have the tylan 50 injectable, but was reading about the Tylan water soluble for when multiple (if not entire flock) is infected. Does anyone have any experience with the Tylan water soluble? Or, any thoughts?
Any antibiotics that are a "must" to have on hand?

We bought a trio of NZ breeders...they wer supposed to be ready to give birth. They didn't. So we call the breeder and they apologize and offer another buck, figuring ours is sterile.
Our buck ODB is on the left lol the new guy they gave us (i swear its a girl tho was told its a boy lol) is on the right...uuuuhhh...mini ODB? Not exactly ready for our program but I made him a cage and put him up with the boys to grow out.

The girls are doing good. Hopefully preggers from a breed attempt almost 2 weeks ago. Lots of waiting...

CX chicks are doing great on the FF, week 3 now and went into the hoop coop.
Going to bring them in the brooder Tuesday & Wednesday night because of the possible freeze :/ but they're lovin the freedom!

It's suppose to freeze tonight too (Monday).
 
I’m sad. I saw a really nasty wreck on my way to work this morning. I thought to myself, “somebody didn’t walk away from that” – big SUV came flying off the interstate & slammed a small car into a pole – direct hit on the driver’s side. I saw blood all over the place. Just found out the young man (21) was killed. I wish people would learn to slow down on the highway. And stay off their cell phones.
