Ugggg. Hate those things.

I see I'm not the only one with a possum problem. We caught three two weeks ago, four last week, and I found two yesterday alone! Needless to say, I think they are learning pretty quick which chickens are off the menu.

And yes! Snowballs is very manly. He keeps his doe protected, wards off scary day old chicks, and takes the back scratches I give him everyday fearlessly. It's all self sacrifice I tell ya. xD

You know, when my girls were in molt I thought I had fighters (first molt ever) because everything was covered in feathers. I have been keeping track of the molting contest and am thankful mine didn't go bare like that. Is it normal for them to be that naked in a molt? They look like they were plucked while still alive.

Time to get the gun and sit. That is far too many hanging around!

Way to go grandma!

Edit: Well I thought way to go grandma, but I cannot find any creditable source for the story. If it hasn't happened yet, it needs to to teach those killers a lesson. There are enough good reasons for people to be killed (IE: self defense, death row, etc.), there is no reason for this shameful cowardly crime.

Happy Thanksgiving Week my Louisiana friends!!!

I am very thankful this year for deciding not to continue to be influenced by negative people, for continued micro mini improvements in my health, for my husband and children, for real friends and so, so much more!!! I thank God for every good and not so good thing about my life. There is always a lesson in the bad for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and has a great time with friends/family............and lots of yummy food

Have a Happy Sunday!
