Craigslist is not all bad. It is a area known for a scam though. The tricks are to call first and hammer out the details then to meet in a public place for the exchange. I have only used it twice but in those two times looking for something I have found that people that have an address listed or "take anything you want free" are usually scams. It is just as safe as internet dating... they even made a movie about the real craigslist killer. I do think that they need to improve their security for things like this.

I knew I had a strange kid, now my family knows I have a strange kid. This was his first birthday party with them around. He can't help it, his dad was just as strange as me. I let him plan his party just like I always do and he chose this:
Dinner was ranch style beans, baked hot dogs, brussel sprouts, and carrots. The cake was one with the tiny carrots on it (carrot cake). And the only presents he played with were the telescope and microscope. They tried to get him one of those tablet things and it is still sitting in the box next to the robot still in the box. He turned 5 today. The only downside was that the cloud cover was too much to see anything but I promised him we could go out tomorrow and see the stars and planets. Now he is watching another marathon of Doctor Who, go figure.

I have done a lot of flagging on Craig's List. Celie, if you go to the bottom of the ad and click help, then go to harassment at the bottom box, click on that and there is a link for specifically reporting when someone has posted your personal info. I'll keep repeating it but it might be best if you file the form so that person can't post again. You will need the posting ID for both postings.
