Well tonights bonfire is going to be spectacular! The neighbors moved and abandoned all of their furniture, so a house load of furniture is about to go whoosh. It's going to be HUGE. Unfortunatley they also abandoned their last dog, the part-grown puppy. :somad  :duc  Someone else, distant relatives of my husband actually, are moving in so we know for certain they have gone and just left the furniture and dog behind. Who in the hell does that?! Too many people, I know. How can you just abandon a dog?! A dog that only exists because they let an unspayed female run loose. I'm GLAD they are GONE, GONE, GONE! Good riddance. :somad

I applaud you! And your Doc.
An example of that, When hook worms are introduced to the system it helps celieacs and other gut chronic illness because the hookworms farm the vermcille* (good guy bacteria in our upper intestine) even protecting it from our own systems while it gets established. We. North Americans freak out and over clean and anti bacterial every darned thing and pasteurized and unferment all our food and even go and wear shoes! How could we!? Lol well all this cleanliness has cut us off from the good bacteria as well as the bad. Sometimes we see hookworks that we get naturally from walking around barefoot as an icky parasite. So we kill it off. Actually it was doing its job farming good guys keeping them safe and our bodies were working on killing the gross hook worm so we saw it in our poo or test at a docs and freak out and kill it also killing the good stuff. Amazing help for any hard core suffers of celieacs. Hook worms will teach your immune system to work again. But here people think Ew before health because thats how it is here. :hide
:gig The FDA are people that are as competent as the FAA at trucking regulations.

I bring eggs to my doctor, he told me he dose not wash them before using them. We are way to clean, our body's have no defense from invading bugs. Need to be clean, but not operating room clean. Good greens, non-pesticide, you wash but shouldn't get upset about getting every bug egg off. If you cook it, its dead, if not it's just protein. I love my doctor. I will miss him. He also is open to the parasite treatment for certain chronic ailments. Apparently there are parasites that will raise your natural immune system and make you healthier. But you have to keep your internal pets under control.

I will miss my new age doctor when I move.

Sounds to me like the best day in that little dog's life was when they left him behind when they moved out of the house next to you. JS

The last pic of Hubby and I from 2013. I was COMPLETELY FROZEN so my oldest put her wolf hat/scarf thingie on me:rolleyes: (I feel the need to tell people that I normally do not wear such attire, lol). Then my youngest decided to photo bomb our picture  My kids are crazy. I am glad that we got to go to the zoo and see the Christmas lights....even if it was after Christmas. It was the last night they were having them this year.
Very cute!! But blam your kids on your hat!! Awhahahahah

LOVE the hat! ;) The first one hatched the night before last (Sultan X Japanese). Her (hopefully) name is Yule (smallest white one). She is in with her two "adopted" silkie siblings, Constantine (partridge) and Lou (white) I got from a friend. They are about 4-5 days old. The Silkie X Sultan from this morning is my New Years "Resolution" (her name). She isn't near ready to come out of the hatcher yet.
I'm glad some of my wishes are coming true! Boy that was fast.

Of that I am sure of. I was seeing the only one I know of that was MD plus studied eastern and holistic medicine. He closed his practice . I haven't found one I like yet. Pam

Glad they are gone. Does this mean you have another dog now?:hide Or, you can tell the relatives that the dog comes with the house.

I bet my granddaughter and I have hook worms. We only wear shoes when absolutely necessary. Lol.

It is so hard to find a doc, or even a dentist. I have insulted, deeply, docs in the past that wanted to prescribe antibiotics. I'm not against them, I had spinal menengitis twice and they probably saved my life, but I've had docs prescribe them after telling me I had a virus. When I say I understood that antibiotics have no effect on viruses, they say it is in case I get a secondary infection. Well, if I have a serious infection that cannot resolve on it's own, then I will take them. Prophilaphic antibiotics is insane. My doctor now is so competent, but makes me a partner in my health. I just left a doc after 13 years bec he insisted I take Crestar. I want to deal with Chlorestrol naturally. Chlorestrol medicine is very bad stuff. Dr. Dean Ornish says that if you take it you may not die from Chlorestrol, but you will die from the medication. Anyway, that's my rant and I am SO very okay if you totally disagree with me. JS. IMHO.
