I wanna get pulled over...just dump the box out and sit patiently covered in peeps for the officer...

From what I understand, they will be in boxes. The lady said that she will call after she picks them up. I"m nervous.

If this year goes ok, I have thought about getting 300. I would die if I had to order 500!!!!!!!!!

There are a few people interested . Maybe we can figure it out . The one in Arizona came up when I googled it. I think I'll contact the man that started it and ask how he did it. From what I read they take orders and get deliveries every two weeks. We do have quite a few people that have a lot of animals to feed. If we could get everyone together I'm sure the bigger the order. Cheaper the bill. Pam

Yes, staying busy and trying to stay out of trouble.

You really should consider lamb for meat for you and your family. Best idea I ever had when I had the 1st one processed. I take mine to the local slaughter house. They only charge $25.00 to get it processed (killed) and then $0.20 a lb to cut. They will wrap if for you but will charge an additional $0.10 to wrap. I wrap it myself. As far as the cuts, I use this guide and i tell them what I want and how I want it. Perfect cuts every time. I had him cut 2 little cute roasts.

I purchased a Samsung 4 camera surveillance system from Sam's on Black Friday. $100.00 off the original price. I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has so many features to it. One of the many features that I LOVE is that you can set it to playback only the times where there is Movement/Motion. Of course the camera records EVERYTHING but you can program it to show only the movement and not just sit there and watch dead TV (no action). I logged on from work today and I saw my yard and my animals acting like the bully's that they really are. The only thing that I would have done different was to buy the 8 camera system instead of the 4. And that's because I love this thing so much. EASY EASY Setup. Each camera has 60 ft and you can buy more cable to add if needed. Samsung Technical Support is EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 4 cameras and this is how they are set up.

1. Camera facing the driveway. It records everyone who pulls into my yard.
2. Side of my house. Chicken yard gate #1 Entrance, Peacock flight pens, chicken stalls, rabbit shed.
3. Back of the house. Chicken yard gate #2 Entrance. Other peacock pen, chicken house, Lamb pen in back inside of chicken yard. Goat pen. Outside chicken pens.
4. Back yard and side of house. Outside Lamb pen and back door.

I don't know how much he paid for it. He just bought it and gave it to me. I don't even know where he got it from. I will call him and ask him and let you know.

If we are going out of state for feed there is a brand/mill called Lone Star in TX that sells aprox 45lb bags of organic for $24. They use kg as a way to measure not pounds. One of my local feed stores sells their brand though I haven't tried it yet.

Now if that price were co-op-ed and went lower, then we might be interested. But we are on a small scale here for sure. We just cannot afford more than $21.00 per 50lb bag of layer pellets, max. And chick feed is even lower than that at Petrus. I know its not organic there from Petrus, but thats what we can afford.

I love Petrus!!!!!!!!! That's what all of my birds get. I get the gambird pellets and they love it and I love them getting it. We made a Petrus run a few days ago and stocked up on (40) - 50lb bags of Gamebird pellets and (5) - 50 lb bags of Gamebird crumble for the younger ducklings. They will be switching to pellets soon. I also get rabbit pellets, sheep pellets and goat pellets from their as well.

Best Feed store around!
