"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I can't muti-task at all ....... It is hard enough just to do one thing.... ADD. :/

Please explain your knee. I think you torn something totally different.
I had torn cartilage in my knee, it was so swelled I could not put my jeans on, I had it repaired. I told the doctor I drive a truck over the road for a living, and needed my knee. After he "repaired" it he told me that he removed it because I was an older woman. If I was a young man or an athlete he would have put it back to gather. I asked him about driving a truck and the clutch. His reply was, oh no, I would have to get an automatic. I was furious with him. I he told me I was to old dor that anyway.......... I was 59.

Found a great Doctor, as it turned out. Gave me a new knee. Now I can even kneel on it on soft surfaces. When I was living on a boat I could use it to pull my self up..... I would forget I even had the operation.

I keep going out in the chicken yard checking. Of course the really bad stuff hasn't really started in BR. My coops are open front so I draped comforters to create an open entrance and made sure there was no poop build up. Right now I'm waiting to go into yoga, the gym cancelled all classes after this one. I can't run bec I did that yesterday and you have to actually override the app to run two days in a row. So easy to just stay in bed, but I figured I might not be able to get out at all tomorrow. The bunnies are usually tarprd with some exposure so I put a big loose tarp over the whole hutch last night with lots of fresh hay on the bottom and in their houses. Right now none seem distressed. Hey, CatDaddy, I admitted before and now again, this weather is hooey. But super hot is hooey too.

My comfort zone is 70-90 degrees. Anything less or over that is hooey!

Hope everyone is tucked up safe and warm. I am WAY behind on posts.

Everyone here is doing pretty good. We had sleet, then snow this morning. It stopped about an hour ago. Maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Not as much as last time. But it came down in huge pretty fluffy flakes. Blowing at an angle. Now that sure is pretty to watch. Hubby played the hero and took a lady to the store that was walking in this cold!

And someone is pulling their kid down the road in a basket tied to the back of their golf cart

X2. I can live with that. I checked the ACV water a while ago. Frozen. So much for that theory. But it was in the open. I broke the ice and put it under the shelter. I made a nice area with a heat source under the canopy over the coops. All protected from the wind so not so bad. Of course they are all out in the sleet scratching around. At least to know they have a dry protected area with food and water and a heat source and it's clean. Nothing more I can do.

The wild birds came into the coop for the first time today. So I put the roof back on the meat pen and left the door open and they all went in there. I think they were trying to get out of the wind because they didn't go for the food in the coop. The babies have taken to the top roost for the day, they tried outside and just didn't like it. The big girls are once again roosting on the swing set frame to warm up their feet in between scratching in the snow/sleet mix. I have already had to replace water several times today and every time I come out with hot water they all come over to gobble it up.
