The bantams at TSC are a lottery. They throw all kinds of breeds in the bantam section. I wish they would label them, though I suppose if you know your breeds you're at an advantage.

Thanks to you, Kuntrygirl. I could never have imagined such a thing without Couch to 5K. My mind just would not have been able to think it, just so impossible. But that app just slowly is taking me there. It's my crutch. I listened to the app during the race with my music. Thanks again so much!

These have a stripe along their back. They all look the same. And now their feathers are coming in grey. Don't know if you can see them any better in this pic.

Wow thanks y'all. I looked up the Phoenix breed and the chicks look exactly like mine, and the new feathers coming in look just like the lower wing tip feathers on this silver Phoenix hen:

What I am reading says they only lay about once a week. Is that your experience too? Well, at least they are pretty!

Phoenix have slate/blue legs yours is more likely a BBred game or Brn. Leghorn type bantam
