"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hello! I have just joined the page and am located between Alexandria and Natchez, Ms. Almost exactly halfway. I have a post in the new members forum with a list of my flock. 4 ducks, 11 hens and 1 Roo. Anyone located near me? Looking for more khaki Campbell ducks and silver lace hens. May consider other color lace as well. No more roos! Lol.

:welcome

Happy hump day!

Tended to the gardens, cleaned up rabbitry (cleanest rabbitry Eva with a line of peeps awaiting bags of poop...yes poop. Selling as fast as rabbits. Need more rabbits to make more poo :th doh

But we DO have new mama rabbits to be anytime now and staggered litters to have a constant flow of new bunnies!

Last of the CX chickens from the JAN 3RD order are to be processed on Saturday bright and early and we will be free of big old food bully chickens until early fall! :yay :gig

Have a new flock of mixed new layers (chicks) for us growing out and we considering turning a chicken coop into a grow out rabbitry coop after meaties are processed. So many rabbits on the way and happy bunnies need space.
Been crazy busy but loving it :)

Amaryllis I think. Gorgeous, aren't they? All of them are pretty!
My roses are blooming like crazy. I bought 80 white caladium bulbs to go across the front of the house. Two hibiscus and some marigolds.
Tomorrow & Fri are supposed to be good planting days so I'll put in the tomatoes, cucumbers, pole beans & hot peppers.
So glad it's finally warmer!

My cousin wanted some guinea eggs to hatch, well -- I found the nest! so he has 17 of them under his broodies. Of course she moved it immediately so I have no idea where she's laying now. But hopefully some of them will hatch & then we'll have guineas all over the place.

Hens are laying up a storm - I donate to Manna House once a week plus keep family & friends supplied.

That's all the news here!
