Morning La-yers! Looking forward to the weekend here! I'm taking off work at noon tomorrow & taking my 82 yr old Mom shopping. She has "shrunk" a bit & her "nice" clothes no longer fit so we are going to dress her up w/some new things. All of the department stores are having clearance sales & this way we can get the jump on the "back-to-school" shoppers before everything is picked over.

Saturday is Tomato Day. I will process all of the tomatoes I've been stashing in my freezer into spaghetti sauce. That's a mostly all day process and well worth the effort!

Sunday is "kick-back-and-do-as-little-as-possible" day.

I went to let the girls out this morning & Georgette, my old cross-beaked girl met me at the gate. Now where was she last night when I locked them up? It was dark & she is a black hen so I didn't see her still out. I'm glad she survived the night wandering around the pen!

Who are you refering to, i have 7 and they are not laying yet, but welcome white eggs, i will have many colors once all my hens start laying

Everyones so busy! I love it!

We are too everything hurts. Everything. Lol

bunnies are having babies! A doe had 7 yesterday and another doe has a nest ready ...2 more does may also. The Calis were bred at the same time...no nests from them yet tho.

New building arrived. We still have lots of work to do on it but its here and that's a start! This will hold 40 36 inch breeder cages and two 35 gallon auto waterers so excited.

Found a garage cat crammed in a generator at work...soooo boney, hungry and nice I had to take her home n feed her. hubby has named her rehab...pics are deceiving, shes a bag of bones but eating well and has a nice clean room and bed now.

Now I have 2 garage chickens and a garage cat.

Yes , that is what i told my wife, to be expecting them to start laying any time, i expect the RSLs to start in Sept. or Oct.
