Got another one today!

By spring I'm hoping for a dozen a day. Wouldn't that be awesome?

It does dont it, well, chicken math runs rampant with me, and going to add more by new years if this hatch comes off, i sure hope it goes well, because i am putting 12 EE eggs, 12 RSL, 6BSL, 6 white leghorn and 5 dominique eggs in the incubator Tuesday, it holds 41 total, so i expect maybe 20 to hatch this first round.Congrats on the eggs. Also, love your newest additions, Lemon. Top Dog, seems like yesterday when you started. Wow.
Wow! This is a very active group of chickens lovers! Thanks for the welcomes.
I guess I'm figuring out the chicken math too. In addition to the 4 originals I have (black copper marans mix) and the new campine and Araucana chicks I got last week (6 total), mr Roy at cypress duck farms (aka cypressdrake) put some blue copper marans and lemon cuckoo orphingtons in the incubated for me last week.![]()
Lemon Cuckoo is such a beautiful, striking color and pattern combination. I hope you will post pictures as they grow up.
I need to go find that thread. My husband traded with a lady he works with for some eggs from her Buff Orpingtons and her new RIR hens. They are going to be for our youngest to pick a few for raising for 4-H. We are supposed to get them Tuesday. But will have to wait until the ones in the incubator pop out first.......then Lock and Load again!

Think I"m going to do the same thing. RIR hatch due Thursday of this week -- now strongly considering some Silver Laced Wyandottes - I just love that color pattern!
