I had five of them and all turned out to be Roos, and hateful as all git out, had to cull them all, they were feed store chicks, were suposed to be Red sex links,red sex link roos are white with red spackling, these stayed red, some matured quick and some late, the only way i could tell was the pointed shackle and saddle feathers, and you are very welcome.Thanks Top dog

I bought the swing on sale. I have a old cypress a frame from a swing. Today we will get netting to make it a tractor for my young birds.They can meet the flock in safety. Pam

Amazingly enough we ended up having a chick that I was SURE wasn't going to make it, but it did live. I think it was in a colder part of the incubator. We gave it some barely diluted liquid poultry vitamins. I really did it just because the kid didn't want to give up on the chick yet...... And it was still breathing, so I couldn't just leave it. The next morning it was lifting it's head, sitting up, in a wobbly manner. Now though it already had a mind of its own. So we have an even 10.
I'm still pretty excited that we have blue chickens. Now if only they are all hens. HA!
