Hey guys. Its been a long time since I last posted. I've had to downsize on the number of birds I have, but I'm trying to tell myself quality over quantity. Do any of you raise silver laced wyandottes? I'm trying to find some nice hens to upgrade to for my cockerel. He filled out much nicer than I expected. The current hens are docile and good layers, but that's about all they have going for them. They are badly colored, scrawny, and pinch tailed. If I can only get two or three really nice hens, or even pullets close to POL, I'd be happy. I'm open to shipping, and I'm located near Baton Rouge. Thanks in advance guys!![]()

This guy is a monster by the way. He almost reaches my knee if he is standing upright and alert. I think I could ride him around the pasture if I wanted..

There we go. Pretty chill, easy going chick. I really am hoping it is a big fat hen! I'm loving the blue.
