We're having a hard freeze here to night. If you have birds with big combs you might want to Vaseline their comb to protect from frost bite. I'm freezing my butt off here. The vet for NPIP would pick the coldest day of the year to come test my birds. Pam

Well I haven't been very scientific with this hatch at all. Forgot to calibrate my thermometers, didn't candle or weigh eggs, and didn't number or write anything on them. I don't even know if the FBMC are fertile. :/ So another comedy of errors?

I got more Rees line Legbars today no heat pack 4 dead one hoping she makes it. The NPIP vet came today just as I came home with chicks. Turns out he finds livestock for movies. They are looking for 2 GSD's like mine so I have to submit pics they might be in a movie. While all this was happening I put a egg in my pocket with my phone. You guessed it the egg broke good thing phone was in the otter defender. So now cleaning egg off everything and washing coat. one of those days I'm NPIP certified now.
