Lemon, I didn't know they could crow that young! So cute

Cody, I told everyone at work about hearing him crow. They already think I am the crazy infatuated chicken lady so doesn't hurt to "add" to my image.

That's impressive Lemon. I'd hate to have to buy four gallons of blueberries at the grocery. They're not cheap these days. 

There were 5 of us picking. And the plants were just loaded in some spots. Took us about 2 1/2 hrs. I just couldn't get over the size of the bushes though. We told her we took cuttings off of my Father in laws plants so we could try and grow some extra bushes. She promptly told us we need to bring a shovel and dig up some babies with roots. "Because I mow over them anyway". When someone gives me plants it's like Christmas for me. . To help her out my husband removed some of the saplings from in the rows of bushes. And we brought her some eggs and goodies. It's big deal to us when someone offers something like that to us, so that is the least we can do.

You should walk into work crowing or cackling like a hen some morning just to see their reactions.

I am not baking in this heat! At least not in the day time. We have been saving that for evenings and even after dark. Our AC sure could use an update.

If it's true, then that means of the 8 chicks I bought, I wound up with four pairs! Two gold-laced, two silver-laced, and two buff-laced polish, then the splash cochins.

Now that's some good luck there!!' I would have probably ended up with all boys!
