Ive been busy :-/ neighbors flipn Boston terrier got him, i swear i got more of that messy dye on him than me! My ole man wants to name him barney
hes doin better everyday, and we survived this attack, but improvments have been serious. I was letting them live free ranged because i knew they were roosting in a good spot and that they stay close. Theyre sort of imprinted on me. Ive never had any inclination to clip wings, letting them keep their escape wasnt the Plan... but it will be from now on.That terrier has been living here longer than Myself, and im at two years. i thought he was safe, hes never displayed Any aggression toward any of my "flock" (including dogs and cats!) or ourselves... But apparently turkey dinners too good to resist. Ive heard ducky dinner too...
The thing about the birds that i didnt understand, is how it isnt just a "loss," its heartbreak! I wouldve cried and cried to loose him, especially knowing how i am their protector they depend on me, i have failed them in this instance and it could have cost us his life. His life isnt even important in $ signs-- its always the favorite bird/birds whom are attacked
