So do you candle tonight or just wait till day 21 to see what we get?[/quote]

I will do a final air cell trace tumro, so that i can monitor the draw down levels, unfortunatly aside from the aircell there isnt much to See, darkness is what we Want to see :gig . If the hatchling draws down the aircell, you can tell its still alive, an on its way to hatching! This wont be as important with the bulk of them, but once im down to the last, it will help me pinpoint anyone whos struggling :) fingers crossed we will have our hatch this Saturday!

I have one buff silkie I want to get a few more but maybe in the spring. I keep seeing all these tiny adorable chick's everyone is hatching and it's making me want to hatch some but no incubator, heck I haven't even gotten my first egg yet!

Hatching in classroom??? Anyone here ever helped with it before? My cousin and another elementary teacher have asked if I can provide them with eggs and take the chicks afterward. I have no problem with that, but I know nothing about incubating/hatching chicks. My cousin did this once when she was a student teacher many years ago and I don't know about the other. They are planning to do this in the spring. Any suggestions of information/instruction they can use as a resource?
