Gasping for air isn't a good sign. I would add vit.,probiotics,and electrolights. It sounds like respertory issue. You can get vetrx at your feed store it's for respertory problems. I would continue the antibiotics. The sooner the better. Do you see improvement? Reading your post makes me think it's getting worse. Pam

The only one that improved is this fella...we call him Duke. The other 2, a RIR hen and a Leghorn hen are about the same. Lethargic but eating and drinking. The 2 wyandottes seem to have just started in the last 2 days. So VetRx is for respiratory? I'll get some tomorrow. I am currently using ACV and sav-a-chick in their water. I will continue with the Tylan and get some VetRx tomorrow. Thanks Pam

The closest thing to being bare is the black one if you look at her neck it's not bare but Not as thick fuzz as was there before

We just left them with my sister while we went out of town for a week and I was so shocked they basically doubled in size!!!

Just candled my eggs it's been nine days. Out of 36 eggs 3 were a no go. One not fertile, one hairline crack,the other was clear. The rest are alive hope the all hatch. Camping all my Svart Honas are alive all are fertil too. Pam

I candled my breese eggs, they go into lockdown tomorrow in the hatcher. All are still alive so hoping they all hatch. Also two of my ccl eggs that are 8 days have good veining. Yea! I am going to separate the ccl roo and hen soon to see if that helps with the fertility issues. He isn't very "active" to begin with and now that he has taken to the other hens too I guess he isn't making the rounds as much with my ccl hen. My buff laced polish eggs are all fertile but they are already penned separate from the others. And my goose egg is developing very well

My orpingtons looked like that at one stage. It was like they grew faster than they feathered out. Also had some cornish x that did that too.

Now, with all the talk of being NPIP I want to do the testing also. Who do I have to get in touch with for this to happen?

I cant see the comb on the barred chick, but usually i can tell by watching their combs grow, the roos will have larger combs and they will mature to red faster, the hens will have more of an orange color and it should be smaller for most breeds.

Your barred rock is a pullet. Roosters are lighter.That easter egger is poullet too. To early to tell on the black. Pam
