Any of yall got any fertile eggs? My jersey giant decided to go broody.. shes only got 1 egg a day rite now and ive been taking them from her unless i can get more.

Mine are just starting back laying after moult, I'm only getting 1-2 eggs per day.
Where are you? Did you check Craig's List?

Yea ; i got some from a lady in st gabriel. But my hen decided to only sit at nite so i pulled them from her. She hasnt gone back broody since.

theres another girl in watson that has some if i need them. I live in central; dont have facebook so that limited my search big time. I have bought from causey coop before. But amanda didnt have anything i wanted rite now

I have a big mix, all feed store purchased as chicks: comets, white leghorns, a buffy, easter eggers, and a couple of damfinos. The dad is a home raised americauna mix with no butt but a good attitude and fuzzy feet. Anyway, they are starting to lay so I can give you some eggs.

Selling a hen. This year's hatch and almost ready to start laying. She's happy and healthy and has fixated on my garden. I can't get her to stay out and don't want her bringing any friends...I hate holey tomatoes, she's also into my collards. She's some kind of feed store americauna-type, mostly black with some brown underfeathers. She's in chicken jail until sold. $10 and will deliver to Baker/Zachary/Parts of Central that I know....

I’m posting because for some reason I always have trouble finding this thread. My hen is in crowing lock down at night to sleep. In a crate in the dark garage. She started crowing a few weeks ago and have gotten louder. Not interested in running out to the coop between 5-6:00 am to hush her up. I have found that if I chase her around the yard a little she stopped. Maybe it is a reminder of who the head hen really is.
