Oh yeah. Did anyone else notice how feed prices are going up?
Feed store guy said everything across the board went up $1 to $1.50 a bag.
They expect another rise soon.

Yep when i went to tsc last week i noticed that. And cracked corn too.

So far ive got 4 hatched & 2 more pipped. 3 in brooder, 1 drying. If it would quit rollin the others around they migh would hatch lol

Went to home depot for parts & ideas for the brooder. I keep looking at those metal wire shelves....

Gee, I have a bunch of those I scavenged/rescued after the floods. I need to borrow a chick to see if they can be squeezed through the bars...It would be easy to cut and fit those for that table. What do you think?

My mom got a bunch of those for a church work project. I think they'd be fine, but little chick legs could get stuck in them.

also let me see. How many i hatch out; I can give u 1 or 2 to try your brooder out. Maybe work out something for those trouble maker birds
