Well, here's the finished bird!! (Sorry Julie didn't get a pic of the bones & such) It was super tender and super juicy. Could I tell the difference between one I buy at the store?? Not really. Not on taste, etc. Maybe if we ndid a side by side comparison you might. We said we we're going to try that when we made drunken chicken!! The main difference between this one and a store bought one was the lack of fat. I had cooked the thing for an hour and had no fat in the pan at all. Had to throw some ice cubes in it to help the veggies not dry out!! It was just the 3 of us and we didn't even eat half the bird. And my son has a hugmongous appetite!!
