"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Turkeys DO love nugrass, and so do I! If you like coconut, then the nutlets they grow are great. It makes for a good Horchata too, if you like a coconutty cinnamony type drink.

How many are you looking for Betsy? I have a few left.I'm in MS JUST over the line from Slidell.

I only want 2 girls. How much are you selling them for? What color? How old?

I just have some that are a few days old.Unsexed.They are from my Showgirl pen,but I had a couple of Silkie roosters in there at the time to add more fluff and posture to them. They are white with just a hint of strawberry to their coat. Most probably will grow out though.PM me.

Ya'll make the ride over anytime you feel like it. I have sold most all of the chicks that I hatched. I did keep
a few for myself and have more in the incubator now. A few of the Royal Palms I got yesterday will be
sold tomorrow (3-4) and I will be keeping the rest. I do have someone bringing me more turkeys tomorrow
though.

I'll have to do that.

Look at all the ducks!!! They are so cute!

My four year old has fallen in love with the chickens again. He was meh for a few weeks, but the last few days, he has been asking to go visit them. He wants to pet the Orpingtons and even held the little mystery chick for a second. He brings them treats. Sweet boy, makes me so happy.

I am looking for a farm to go visit. We are "homeschooling" this summer since he does not qualify for summe services theoug the school system for his disabilities. I have weekly units and we are beginning with Farms. Does anyone have a suggestion? We are in Ponchatoula and I will drive an hour. Just want to show him animals.

I've had horrible tooth pain for a few days, turns out, one of my from teeth has abscessed. No cavity, one if the boys hit me in the face a while back. Oww. Worst than giving birth. Pain meds are not cutting it.

Thank you! I actually just got 4 last night.

Sorry to hear about your tooth. I can just imagine the pain. Hope you get to feeling better.

I will see if I can find some information for you on a farm that is close to you. I will let you know.

Will you raise them to process them Terri? I wonder what a yard turkey taste like? I bet it's as delicious as a yard chicken.
