If you are buying in bulk like kuntrygirl you may want to give Petrus a call also . I bet they can beat those prices , problem is you are a pretty good ways away from Alexandria . That seems a bit much for scratch .

I look for it to go higher as long as these nuts want to use corn to make fuel , plus with all the crops being ruined by the flooding in Mo. and here . Mo. grows a lot of corn. I wish we would convert sugar cane to bio-fuels like Brazil has .

Then we have this drought problem .

I am a long way from Alexandria. There is a mill around Kentwood somewhere, but I have no way of hauling tons of feed or storing it.There is also a mill in Long Beach and Lucedale, but still the prices are going so high.By the time I figure in gas it's near the bag price.

I do like it but normally don't buy it since it's so expensive. Bought it again yesterday since TSC was out of all there Dumour brand feed. Figured I could get one bag and feed everyone till they get another shipment in. It's over $15 for 50#.

We survive the same way you do in the winter time when you're living in a deep freezer, and we're here in the south wearing short sleeve shirts enjoying the cool breeze.

I can't imagine having to shovel snow first thing in the morning to be able to get out of my driveway.
