So, I want some opinions!!

We are going to eventually start building another coop to replace ours. #1 we don't like where ours is now. #2 we didn't plan it very well since it's an open coop and the open part is facing north, etc. #3 I want a bigger coop or should I say I want 4 different coops and runs!!

So I've been researching for awhile and I think I found the perfect one to copy off of!! The only thing different I will do is make the runs wider & longer. And I will probably not use tin on the outside except for the roof!! So what do ya'll think???

It might take us a couple of years to get it finished

but I think working on it a little at a time and not being rushed or anything will help. I think I will start going to that place (I swear I can't think of the name) that people turn in stuff they no longer need and you can go buy building stuff there!!

I know if I go often I might be able to find some good prices there!!

I also want to build the coop/building part where I will have an area to store feed, feeders, etc. and where I can have brooder area and whatnot!!

I kept going back looking for the last post I had read, and I was thinking that I must have missed some yesterday when I got on. Well I guess there were alot I missed because I wasn't on yesterday at all. I spent the whole day in bed sick. No wonder I had missed them.

Ok, I've seen people talking about different things to use for mites and whatnot. Just because I don't know and am learning, but I think I read somewhere that the food grade diatomaceous earth was good for that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I finished clearing the spot for my coop!! I get to start building it next week. WOO-HOO!!
