"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

La Mike and Whiskey Bay

Have you two figured out a way yet to get the ducks moved around?
I haven't been able to get on in a few days since we are so busy with the garden
and just saw where you are trying to get them picked up from her.
How soon does Whiskey Bay need them gone and Mike, when do you need them?
I am not too far away from Whiskey Bay and might be able to get them picked up from her
place in the next few days unless we could work out a place to meet if she wanted to do that?
If you all can figure out how to get them moved across the state from my place here in Kentwood
let me know and I will try to help out. I have a pen available right now that I could
let them use for a while if I needed to until it is time for La Mike to be coming down south.

Don't pay attention to all the Farmergirl posts. The people on this forum are very friendly, generous, and helpful. Please let us know if we can help you and I'm sure that someone will try to help out.

Again, Welcome!

Welcome to the most addicting thread on Backyard chickens.

NPIP testing is free, go to www.louisianachickens.com & there is a link there w/all the info; basically you just contact your local Ag agent & they will do the testing for you.

Well my little dog has to have surgery next Tuesday but that's OK, we'll get her fixed up & good to go again.

Been a long day here; got the storm damage cleaned up, so just have to get the fence straightened back up.

So glad tomorrow (today)? is Friday -- TGIF!!!

I love the idea of the glass company crates, doggoneit I know a person who owns one & never thought to call him!!! did spot some nice long crates stacked behind a sheet metal shop I drive past on the way to work & will go talk to them & see what they intend to do with those--- really nice boards there!!

Have a good night -- morning? -- all -- hear the clock striking midnight-- off to bed here!!

Food Grade DE

Hello my Louisiana Peeps,

I'm looking to find food grade de locally (shipping costs online are ridiculous)...does anyone know of a local place I can get it? I'm in St. Tammany but would drive to Jefferson, Orleans, Tangipahoa, Baton Rouge, Washington or anywhere else close. I've called Tractor Supply and Jefferson Feed and a few other small feed stores but haven't had any luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
