Well everyone, the little duck is the product of the pic that I posted where 3 turkey hens and 1 chicken were all broody and sharing a nest. Because I feared for my life, I didn't even attempt to move them. To move the turkey hens, I would have been sending myself on a no return mission and I am not cut out for war. So, I let them share the nest in the chicken house. Well during this time, I really didn't know how many eggs they were setting on, the only thing that I knew was that they were on both chicken, duck and turkey eggs. Soooooooooooo, today when I looked in the chicken house, I saw this little muscovy duckling sticking his head out from under the ladies. He was too cute. About 30 minutes ago, when I was going out to close the coops and chicken house, I checked under the girls and another muscovy had hatched. Sooooooooo, I have both of them in the back room, in a brooder and under a heat lamp. They are asleep.

I have my work cut out for me AGAIN!

LAMike, how are your Sebastopol eggs doing? My last two are still hanging in there. They go on lockdown Wednesday. I'm hoping that they make it and that we'll be planning another trade route.
