The seven goslings that I have from this year are SO friendly. One of them I can walk up to and pick up anywhere she/he is in the yard. Two others regularly sit on my lap and visit. The others are friendly and sit at my feet. The two blue ones are really getting pretty. I wasn't crazy about the splash or pied pattern but it's growing on me. I REALLY like that blue color though. I'm hoping to get a solid blue next spring.

The white chicks are the Sussex. They are either pure Coronation Sussex, or splits (Coronation/Light Sussex). You will know if they are pure or splits when they start showing their color. If they have lavendar on the necks, wings, and tail they're pure; if the color on the necks, wings, and tail are black they're splits. The two bigger chicks I sent should be pure -- I saw color that I thought was lavendar on their wings and neck.

Oh ok 1 big one and 1 small one didnt make the trip though

The others are doing just fine though.

Yea he is a little spoiled I think lol Maybe because I pick him out of the brooder and carry him around while feeding and watering all the others

Sorry about the chicks. I put them in the little boxes right before taking them to your friend and they were fine. I wonder if they may have gotten too hot. Maybe I should have used a bigger box. The little goose may have trampled the bigger chick.

Glad the others made it OK.

Good morning all - at the grind here, starting to clear stuff out.

Twiley I replied to your PM about the close-out stuff, let me know if you dont' get my PM - for some reason it's still showing up on the screen even though I answered it.

Tomorrow my little Winnie has her surgery & I can bring her home Wed. to start six weeks of recovery. She is such a live wire this is not something I'm looking forward to at all! We bought her a pool at Walmart Sat - 2 1/2 feet deep x 8 feet wide - I figure the "aqua-therapy" will help in her recovery. It just breaks my heart to see her wistfully bring us her beloved tennis ball, wanting us to throw it for her.

Well have a good one - I have to get to work pitching stuff out.
