So far so good and the little stinker you sent me is rotten
It tucks its head under my neck every time I pick it up
What were the white chicks you sent
And will try and get pics of the new additions tommorrow The ducks, goose and the blrw roos
You will LOVE that little gander!!
The sebbies will change your whole attitude on geese.
The seven goslings that I have from this year are SO friendly. One of them I can walk up to and pick up anywhere she/he is in the yard. Two others regularly sit on my lap and visit. The others are friendly and sit at my feet. The two blue ones are really getting pretty. I wasn't crazy about the splash or pied pattern but it's growing on me. I REALLY like that blue color though. I'm hoping to get a solid blue next spring.
The white chicks are the Sussex. They are either pure Coronation Sussex, or splits (Coronation/Light Sussex). You will know if they are pure or splits when they start showing their color. If they have lavendar on the necks, wings, and tail they're pure; if the color on the necks, wings, and tail are black they're splits. The two bigger chicks I sent should be pure -- I saw color that I thought was lavendar on their wings and neck.
