Afternoon everyone.... been off here a lil bit.Hadn't been feelin too hot(haha) the last couple days. One of my headaches that just keeps nagging and nagging.I swear if you could possibly divorce a physical headache i would...lol... Hadn't even been able to do much with the birds.Just fed and watered and quick check over/count. Steve's been good the last couple days.Guess he's upset since I told him I'm de-manning his pride.
Iodine is great to have onhand.it's the first thing used in surgical procedures and great for cleaning wounds and surgical sites.I keep it in the shed,the dog box,the med cabinet,the tackle box.... everywhere.... lol.I've had an small issue with dry pox,just a few birds.But I think I had one come up with wet pox. Everyone was fine one day,then the day after the rain stopped I was checking over everyone( quite a few got wet because their dumb butts wouldn't get out the rain). I came across one of the guys with his whole head swollen and mouth was all pussed up inside his throat and up. He had one pustule area that just seemed to encompass the whole mouth throat area. Just from the severity of the looks I culled him and incinerated him with the several I lost to the rain.(piled on top each other after getting wet and squooshed....

Our Walmart doesn't have everything...lol.... They pretty much suck actually. Can't wait till we get a new grocery store here.Walmart has been the only grocery within about a 20 mile radius.30 mi for any decent supermarket.....
