Morning guys... How's everyone doing? Wouldn't you know the whole time we're stuck in the house with Lee I'm feeling great,and the first freaking nice day and one of the headaches hit me...been down for a couple days now...ugghh.Finally got to spend a few minutes with the chickey doodles this morning.I had a few casualties.3 young buffs,and a buff silkie.Was it a bad storm for buffs?It was one of my new runs.Didn't have it built p enough.Flooded and lost them before I noticed and just opened the pen and let them out.Couldn't believe my eyes!!! Everyone was clean and fluffy!!! My lavenders actually starting to look like lavenders...lol... Sat there checking the guys out and started realizing I have quite a few boys coming up in the bunch.... looks like I'll be culling quite a bit soon.out of 5 lavenders,I think I have 1 pullet.Out of the 4 blacks I was eyeing,I have ...4 boys....couple of blue boys so far...I'm hooping my two duns are pullets.I will seperate them with a black roo.Hoping to pull some chocolates off them. Steve didn't like being stalled up with the weather ,so I let him out and he stayed between the vehicles the whole time eating grass.Guess he knew how to get out of the wind....I took a couple pics.. The yard is slowly starting to dry up some...yay!!!

I agree!! So sorry for your losses! Hope you get to feeling better!! Have you tried Topamax as a prevenative for your headaches??

I had the sinus headache from hell this morning but it's going away now, been running back & forth to my folks' house -- Mom took both the flu and the pneumonia vaccines yesterday & reacted horribly to the pneumonia one -- her arm is swollen & red from her shoulder to her elbow & she is running fever & nauseated & sick as a dog - in bed - she will be 80 next month -- stubborn as an ox, too. I just gave her a benadryl, some chicken noodle soup & iced tea & sent her back to bed. I just hate to see my folks getting so fragile as they age.

Terri, the peas were honking up a storm on yesterday AND this morning. I could have sworn I was at a high school pep rally and students were sounding off those little honking-thing-a-ma-jig-cans that they use to make that honking noise. I was like, "What in the world is going on here?"

Must be the nice weather that had them so happy.

I agree!! So sorry for your losses! Hope you get to feeling better!! Have you tried Topamax as a prevenative for your headaches??

Thanks guys.... I'm feeling a lil better right now. Hopefully stay that way..

I have tried Topamax,Elavil,Antivert,Propanalol,and several others I cant remember.I'm currently taking Relpax when I get the headaches,and it works most of the time to get rid of it,but it doesn't stay away. Also it costs $64 per tablet so I'm usually half dead before I decide to take one. I seem to be having back/neck? issues associated with them. Lately I seem to have troubles with them lately on my left side. Maybe I'm sleeping wrong or something...?

Steve says thanks.... Luckily ya'll didn't see what I did his poor forelock...lol... He now has the bangs of Jim Carrey in "dumb and dumber"....lol....They kept getting in his eyes and I wasn't feeling good enough to pull it,so I just cut it...I know I know...How could I....lol...

Ours like to start up when they think they need to be "noodled" (Jim's word for bringing them leftover pasta - he has all of them eating out of his hand)! He says, "I'm going out to noodle the peas"!
