Woke up this morning and had fresh eggs on my mind, so I cooked the duck eggs that I found yesterday. I had scrammbled duck eggs, lamb sausage, cinammon rolls and a tall glass of milk. Fresh eggs does a body good.

Just in the nick of time. What else do you have to do to your coop?

I need to install the nest boxes in the new one and the other one. Started on that last night and it ended up the screws I bought wern't long enough. So I will stop at Wal-Mart and get some longer ones on my way home from work. Once that's done I need to put in the door for between the 2 runs and put the seperation wire in there and then I can split them up!!

And it's time! The roos are starting to fight over the girls. Nothing major or anything but there's been some feather pulling and to me it's nothing worse than see your beautiful roo without his long feathers!!

My geese are doing the same thing. You can tell when mating season is near.

Hey there La-yers just stopping in to holler howdy to ya'll all and to let you all know that I have a thread over in the behaviors section:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=254277

I have ressurected an old post over on the behaviors sect. go check it out if you havent already. I posted it on here two years ago kind to shed a little light on alot of ? on the molt and such and it also has some of goofy adventures (chasing rabbits) in there too that some may find humourus and maybe educational which most on this thread have already got the chicken thing figured out pretty well from my reading of ya'lls post, most on here know what they are doing. I mostly posted it for new/beginers and for some that don't even have the vagest clue of what it takes to have a productive/healthy flock.

holler atch'all later on

Jeff
