I emailed them and this is the reply that I received.

Ducks are 6.50 per bird, cleaning gizzards $1.00 per bird, just saving them .25. Thank you.

If I took 50 ducks to them, the minimum they would charge would be $325.00 not including cleaning the giizards and or just saving them.

Looks like I got a lot of processing to do this weekend.

Being a retired meat-cutter , if you all lived closer I would hire out to process your critters and I wouldn't soak anyone on price .

Kuntrygirl , lol , who woud of ever guessed that a single or a stack of gift cards from a Tractor Supply would be numero uno on my list too .

What a marvelous idea !!! Simply marvelous !! I don't know if any saw a post I made about their chicken scratch , it has several grains in it , where as the place I was getting it in Alex only had two ingredients in there bags . Have to do something with the run cause if we have our typical wet winter , I don't want a muddy mess for my chickens or chooks as the Aussie's call them .

I do all my business with tractor supply now , they have a lot of stuff and clean stores .

Question again .................? Can we feed chooks uncooked rice ?

As far as the uncooked rice, I"m not sure. I have fed mine a mixture that included rough rice. My brother told me that he fed his chooks uncooked rice many years ago and they all died.

There was a thread about that. Let me see if I can find it.

Does anyone know if we have minks or weasels in LA? I have been losing my Lavender Orps like crazy to something killing them in their coop. I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is doing it! We have killed 2 coon and a opossum, but this morning I had another dead one with organs on the ground.
