Hi everybody, I just wanted to share some pictures from my day I picked a few black berries, there were only a few ripe ones, but soon I will be swimming in them lol

well today i got home from work and the girls were in the coop still, I let the dogs out to do their duty's and put them back in the house. I went to check on the girls and they were outside

in their run. they finaly figured out they could go in the yard with out being attacked,, i did kick one of the cats tho, she was stalking with me rite there hope that took care of the cat tho (didnt kick hard) was just enough to brake her concentration.

Yeah that too with ice cream on top of it too I think those dumplings you are referring too are the same as what we hillbillys up here in northern Vernon parish call cobbler/pie also LOL

Here are more pics of the Maran chicks and gosling that my banty hen hatched. I had a total of 13 out of 24 babies that hatched. 3 more were zipping but they didn't hatch as of this morning. I think it's over. I guess I'll try some guinea eggs now. I'll keep practicing. I'm trying to and forcing myself to like, enjoy and get excited about using an incubator but I find that it's boring. Incubating is not exciting to me like it is to others. I get more excited seeing a hen hatch her own babies. I was more excited at seeing my lone gosling hatch then I am to have 13 chicks hatch. Oh well......... life goes on
