I don't have a pond and I have 15 grown sebastopol geese, 4 grown Pekin ducks, and 6 grown muscovy ducks. I use small plastic pools or plastic tubs for them to have water. They don't seem to care as long as they have access to water. Yeah, I'd rather have a pond but I make do with what I have.Gracie - the babies are sooo cute! The more I see pics of everyone's sebbies, the more I want one or two, but I am clueless about geese. Are these friendlier than the horror stories I hear? I also don't have a pond and would feel pretty bad about having geese without one. Isn't that a good reason to talk me out of wanting them?![]()
As for the geese, I LOVE my geese! Just be prepared for some ATTITUDE especially during mating season. I teach middle school kids -- I'm used to plenty of attitude
I had two baby sebbies hatch today. This brings me to a total of 7 goslings so far. I have more going into lockdown tomorrow.
