Pretty good sized Copperhead there Missy. Me and my nephew( whom will be 3 tues.) caught a Coral snake yesterday evening took it about a mile or so down and to the other side of the creek and released it, they do actually do more good than harm as they ARE very poisonous but they have to chew through the skin to admit the venom because they don't have fangs their teeth are similar to our molars in shape just way smaller, as me and me my nephew were releasing it I saw a Cottonmouth"water moccasin" about the size of your copperhead there but we let him be as he was way out there in a beaver dam doing good at the time now if I'd been down there fishing that evening and he showed up uninvited well things would have turned bad for him then but he was good to go for that time. The things still give me the "willies" though LOL

Oh yes the willies for sure!! It was about a foot and a half long. One of the biggest I've seen out here!! I had to laugh at my husband this morning. I was coming home from work and he was about to leave and said "oh yea I filled all the waterers up and got 3 more eggs.. Didn't check the middle coop though, forgot the flashlight and ya'll have me completly creeped out with the snake!"

Wait you think it's a Copperhead?? I was comparing the pics here http://www.preservevenomous.com/Ven.../Southern_Copperhead/Southern_copperhead.html and thought it didn't look like one. Happy Mother's day to everyone! Just sharing a few pics.

This is the rooster that I got from Chris. He is quite the gentleman, and a really pretty boy.

And this is my 2 week old lamb. Is it just me, or is she HUGE for 2 weeks! She's my little butterball!

Grrr, was in the backyard today, and caught to neighborhood BRATS teasing my dog and sticking sticks through the fence at my 3 week old duckies! They were maybe 13-14 year old boys. I caught them, asked their names, their parents names and where they lived so I could talk to their parents. Needless to say, they cursed me out and ran. Joke is on you. I caught up with one, made him stay put, and called the cops. The cop went to their houses to have a little chat with their parents. If they would have listened to me and answered questions, they probably would have gotten grounded, but having a cop show up at their door on mothers day probably was bad, cause now mom is upset on her day, that they got their behinds swatted on top of grounding, or at least I hope. I swear, I catch them over here again, I will drag them home by their ears. One of them little suckers had a 6in knife even! At 13? What kind of parents do they have?

The kind of parents that probably did nothing to punish them. Watch your yard. I'd be willing to bet the little turds come back for some vengeance. Be sure that they don't try to poison your animals too!
