This is my first hurricane with my chickens. Should I lock them in their coop when the winds kick up??

I have no clue what to do!! HA!
Kept ours locked up all day in the run,.. but only because we didn't want to have them in the way while we got ready and had the big gate open,.. they don't seem to mind at all,.. even when the wind gives them a scoot ,.. I suppose it feels good after all the heat,.. they will be locked down with window shutters locked after they go in the coop,.. I sure hope everyone is OK,..

Hasn't gotten here yet. Supposed to around noon-ish.

I saw a big flock of Canada geese in the bayou I drive past on my way to work - guess they figured that was a good spot to ride out the storm!

Hope everybody stays safe!

Yea, it's not been bad at all here. A little rain and a little wind but no big deal at all. I'm about to go let all the horses back out now and the birds have been outside in the runs all morning.
