Hi, I am from Louisiana - Downsville area, and pretty new to raising chickens. I have just bought what is known as the 'oddity of all oddities' in the poultry and pet world - Silkies. One is a rooster - spreads his wings over all the little chicks and keeps them warm at night. 6 assorted standard sized birds - love them all.
