Love Ice cream or hate it??

I am in desperate need of hot cocoa this morning. Guess that means I'll have to throw some ice cream in there, too.

Would the ice cream make the hot cocoa not hot anymore? Or would it simply melt

It depends on your hot cocoa to ice cream ratio. Balanced just right, you get nice, warm cocoa with a glob of cold, but melty ice cream in the middle. I think of it as a better version of iced hot cocoa when I put too much in, though. No actual ice to water down the cocoa as it melts, just creamy ice cream
