Even covered in mud, they are just so cute and fun to watch.

I'm really glad we started this duck adventure. If only I could get over the whole idea of eating their eggs, I could enjoy that part too! Baking is one thing, but cooking one up for breakfast - can't quite do it yet.

Well without a drake no chance of them being fertile so maybe you can over come and try it eventually. They do bake things up nicely though don't they. They also make great egg salad.

My dogs love them too. matter of fact since my ducks aren't laying right now they are getting my bantam eggs instead, not near as big. lol
