Today I set eggs for the first time in our new Brinsea Maxi II Advance. It's already yelling at me about the room temp being too cold. We have them in the kitchen and we normally set our house thermostat to 65 in the winter. Currently I have the house turned up to 68 but the warning hasn't gotten gone away yet.

Am I just going to have to bite the bullet and crank our heater to 70 for the next three weeks? At this point I'm not sure moving it to another spot in the house is feasible. I'm wondering if this is just the price I pay for hatching our own eggs.

Did it come with a heat lamp for brooding? If so you could use it to heat that area, instead of heating your whole house to a uncomfortable temperature. I'm just guessing though.
