Lowes playhouse 4x4 "My Little Playhouse" Kankakee Illinois $149!

Hey that's great! You've inspired me! I guess people want kits just because everything's right there in front of you, included--- I'm perfectly able to go get the materials for that cute little coop and put it together too-- just need to give myself a kick in the butt

If you want to print out the page to show your local Lowe's or order online then get it quick. They only had 3 more in stock and they were selling out quick. My husband drove a long way to pick them up. We ended up buying 3.

I picked mine up Saturday in Ogden (Riverdale) Utah for $74.75 also. They had 7 left after I got mine!

I am not happy with Lowes right now--I found the item at $149 online, but none of my local store carry it--the nearest locations are VA and OH. Anyway I asked if they would ship it from another store. They said sure...get this the new price is $300 for one. I called National Customer service etc cause a 100% increase is not acceptible. And now I read that people are buying them for $75 bucks!!! Talk about price gauging--I wonder what else Lowes is cheating us on.....

Lowe's is not *cheating* you on anything. The normal price for the playhouse is $299. Each manager in the different regions regulate their prices according to how the stock should be moved. The sale prices get the playhouse out of the store... less people are buying $299 playhouses now

and with winter coming, some stores will be more eager to get them out of stock, also.
Just a matter of moving old stock and getting in new.

I just called customer care and they said if we can find a playhouse at another Lowes, then you can go down to your local store and tell them you want to have one transferred to your store. But, you need to make sure that the price will not change, because it might.

Apparently, the pricing is all regional. Here on the west coast/NW, you will pay $299 for 1, so it would be cheaper for you to order 2 online and then have them shipped directly to you. With tax and shipping, it will cost me $238 for 2.

The nice commercial manager at my local store is looking into finding some closer, and hopefully not as expensive, but we will see. I will update you all with what he tells me when I hear back from him.

Also, if anyone else in Vancouver, WA area wants one of these, and we can get them for less than the $299, let me know, and I will see if we can get a bulk discount. Also, anybody on the West Coast can get it for the sale price, please let us know who you contacted/what store, and maybe it will be cheaper for us to get one.

When I was working at our local Lowes here if a customer wanted something we didn't carry or was out of the store mgr would go out of his way to have it sent to our store and no extra cost. Once a customer was moving down from Ohio and their appliances were already purchased at the Ohio Lowes(Some were either not in our store or on sale can't remember now), my store mgr contacted that store and had them sent here and our store also delivered them to the peoples home here before they were fully moved in so they could use them right away and not have to wait.
