I am trying to figure out exactly what the underlying issue is with Lucas. He came home with about 35 other ducklings... one had issues with being pigeon toed, but with increased niacin in the diet the problem has mostly been corrected. They were all hatched back in late January, early February. The way he walks its as if his legs are on the wrong sides (left on right and right on left). I have included a link with a video of him walking as best he can. The picture below is how he went to sleep last night.... If anyone has any notion as what it maybe, I am all ears. Thanks!

Oh my gosh, he does look like his legs are reversed. Lets get @Miss Lydia, @casportpony on to see what they have to say. I do know one thing you can do is get him started on B-complex ASAP. It can only do good. You can get it in the cattle section at Tractor Supply. They've recently changed the label so I have a picture of both old and new.

I am NOT any kind of expert, but it looks like some sort of splay leg. He was born this way, yes? It's kind of cute/quirky IMO, but not if it's causing him difficulty/pain. He seems healthy otherwise. I have seen chicks born this way, and people create "splints" to keep their feet from splaying. It can be corrected that way sometimes if caught early enough.

Hopefully others chime in.

That is exactly what I thought looking at that video too. Splay leg that didn't correct when he was little.
I'm not sure it can be fixed at this point. But I do not know for sure, maybe if he is still young and growing. I've not had to deal with this issue as of yet.. Hopefully someone else can tell us if it's still fixable. :hmm
He looks happy and healthy enough. He may just be a little different. :)

It does look like he had spraddle leg when a baby that didn’t get corrected. I don’t know but might be worth a try to hobble and keep him in a small area he might be able to train his legs to walk better than now, and def liquid b complex. When an if you hobble make sure he can’t get into or fall into water.
