It's day 18 of my first try at incubating. I went the dry hatch approach with a LG with egg turner. I've candled twice and had to cull 9 all together. Just took them out of the turner and set in place now. I must say this has been a very interesting time. Had a few misques and almost cooked them at one point. It only made it up to 102, but I think it caused some of the culls. Here's hoping the "Baker's Dozen" all make it out!
Good Luck on the Hatch! I started with 24 and have 12 in Lockdown and today is day 21 and have a pip in one. The key when it's your first hatch as this is my 2nd is to leave them alone lol. I learned the hard way with my first hatch.
Good luck with your lucky 13. I think Flawed is correct - the key is to get conditions in the bator just right then leave them alone!
