Lucy/Luis is almost 8 weeks old. Can anyone tell boy or girl yet? Also, is this a barred rock?

How old do you think? I bought 2 chicks on July 20 & was told they were about 2 weeks old but this one was much bigger than Ethel. I was also told they were both barred rock but Ethel looks completely different. What do you think about Ethel?

Looks like you might have an Ethel and Luis to me. But you need to get an expert to say for sure, because that, I am not!
