Morning guys,
My gold laced Wyandotte all of the sudden this morning formed a lump/bubble near her comb. I am not sure what it is and searching google is not helpful. Can someone please identify what it can be and how I can help?

thank you

Is her ear swollen too?
Anything in the ear or inside her beak?

Look over her head really well on all sides to see if there's a tick?
Her ear is normal, beak is clean, it’s been hot so she pants but otherwise all good with beak. We are in the city and with 3 dogs over 5 years I’ve never came across a tick here. But IF, would a tick bite cause a hard lump? I’m stunned really, but she did well today - eating, drinking

An insect bite might cause a hard lump.
Could she have possibly bumped her head somehow? Chickens can injure themselves in odd ways sometimes.

Eating/drinking is good. I'm not sure what else you can do for her right this minute - if the bump changes somehow, then we may be able to suggest something else besides observation.
I know it must be frustrating, but without knowing the cause it's hard to know what can be done.

That is the worst part I do not know what caused it BUT this morning she now has a lump/bump on her neck in addition to top of head.
