Hi there!
Was wondering if anyone knows what this lump in my pullets eye is? I was hoping it was something simple to pop but it doesnt seem like it is. Thank you in advance

Since the lesion is adjacent to the eye, I would not cut, pop, or squeeze it. I would, however, use Terramycin in that eye to prevent possible infection from moving into the eye and doing damage to her sight. You can order Terramycin from Amazon or call your feed store and ask if they carry it. Place a small amount in the eye twice a day until it resolves.

Some states have laws against selling Terramycin which is usually locked away to prevent shoplifting, but you can use plain Neosporin triple antibiotic ointment or Polysporin eye drops in a pinch. Vets also may have erythromycin. When I suggested if you wanted to lance it, I meant to lance it near the bottom on the outside. It would be risky to lance it where pus or blood would get into the eye. Let us know if any other symptoms happen.

Could she have been stung in the eye or suffered injury?
First photo (circled below) looks like there's a scab/injury?
Second photo (circled below) there's a "dot" when you've pulled the skin back. Could that be a stinger or something embedded?
Very hard to tell.

I do agree with keeping the eye cleaned (saline) and putting ointment in the eye.

I get mine here - https://fatmansdoghouse.com/shop?category=pcol_01JBYQPD2X42C6D9V7BRT1EGZ0

I bought terramycin once from Tractor Supply, it was a different pharma brand and was totally ineffective.

Thank you! I will chat with my husband about getting some when we have some money to spend but we do have the neosporin so I might do that until we can get the Terramycin. That being said she doesnt seem to have any problems with it so Im going to leave her be for now and just keep a close eye on her since I am treating one of our chicks for impacted crop right now. :barnie Its never ends!

I did pick that scab quickly after I had my husband take those photos as I was hoping it was exactly what you suggested. I was harassed by our neighbors honey bees one time but it was nothing under it so no dice on that one.
